I met up with Amanda and Alex in the beautiful Boston Gardens during the Walk for Hunger.  They came into the city from The City (the big apple for those of you who don’t know the lingo), for a full day of wedding planning, family catch up and of course engagement photos.  I was so excited to meet this sweet couple and can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August!

They picked a beautiful day.  The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze, and people were finally coming out of winter hibernation.  Boston Commons was filled with families and other couples in love, making it even more of a romantic spot.

The trees in the gardens were in full bloom.  I love an extra little color pop!

Favorite shot of the day.  This image is relaxed and speaks of a strong man and a comfortable love.

One of my favorite things about Boston is the character of the brownstones.  These amazing homes are within walking distance of the park and are the perfect backdrop for a little variety in Amanda and Alex’s shoot.
