San Antonio – A Drunken Feast Inspiration

From a recent trip to San Antonio at the Mission San Jose Catholic Church. This gorgeous inspiration was a breath of fresh air and photographed entirely with my vintage Contax 645 medium format film camera. Talented vendors include:

Design/Floral – Janna Brown Design

Stationery – Lazywood Lane

Hair/Makeup – JAX Studio

Linens – LaTavola

Ribbon – Silk & Willow

Dress Retailer – The Dress Theory

Dress Designer – Costarellos

Models – Gustavo Garcia and Alysha Blanco

Mentor – Katie Grant

Workshop – The Hybrid Collective

My favorite part of this shoot was seeing how good taste can take a design so much further than a huge budget. Because of time restrictions, I literally had less than 10 minutes to shoot this set up, but it was so well done that it was an easy day! The theme was “a drunken feast”, but honestly this felt like I was walking through something almost biblical with the stone walls and vintage books.I have a lot more to say, but I’d rather the images speak for themselves. I will forever be grateful to The Hybrid Collective for this refreshing time of learning and collaborating.
